Eyebrow Pencils - Right Eyebrow Pencils to Compliment Your Features

Many people suffer from thinning or pale eyebrows which can sometimes be very difficult to see and so are unable to perform their duty of framing the face and eyes to create more definition and balance to the face. If this applies to you there is no need to despair, there are many different ways in which we can enhance our eyebrows so that they complement and set off our features in a more positive way.

Augmenting Your Eyebrows
There are a few different ways in which people can augment their eyebrows such as hair transplants, makeup and hair growth products, but the easiest and simplest way to add depth and color to our eyebrows is by using the eyebrow pencil. Eyebrow pencils are able to define and improve on existing eyebrows creating more shape and outlined arches; this can create a thicker, fuller look to the brow which adds more character to the facial features. As well as eyebrow pencils, there are powders and creams that can be used to add color and a natural finish to the brow once the initial definition has been completed with the pencil.

Proper Use of Makeup
Before applying any kind of eye makeup it is important to make sure that the area is clean, this can be done by using a normal eye makeup remover or some alcohol on a cotton pad. When the area is clean, you need to make three guideline marks on the brow with the pencil, one at the beginning, next to the nose, the middle and at the tapered end furthest from the center.

Getting Your Eyebrows Done Correctly
Once these points have been plotted then you can begin marking the line along the bottom of the brow using delicate feathered strokes from inside to out so that the line is kept clean and natural, drawing a single line stroke will look more false and 'painted' than short, light strokes. Using a very sharp eyebrow pencil can create a very unnatural and severe look which is not attractive so it is always best to just pinch the tip of the pencil before use so that the line is kept soft, broad and natural.

Once the bottom line is in place then, using light strokes in an upward motion, you can start filling in the brows. Add more pressure to the pencil in order to define the area around the arch and use a cotton bud to smudge the edges in order to create a blended and natural shading effect. With a little bit of practise you will find that it is possible to have perfectly shaped eyebrows even if you are not blessed with a naturally dark and defined set.
